UGANDA 3G PROJECT PLANNING March 08
Recently greenX Solution completed a project in Uganda where we provided mechanical and electrical engineering services resulting from site audits we completed. The aim of the project is to provide cost saving and optimization recommendations for upgrading an existing 2G network to a new 3G network. We offered our customer a comprehensive service with:

 

  1. Deploying survey teams to site
  2. Gathering detailed information
  3. Providing audit results
  4. Performing engineering services
  5. Cost saving recommendations

 

 

UGANDA FIBRE PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Currently Ongoing
An operator in Uganda is upgrading their facilities with the construction of a new head quarter building. Part of the project is the deployment of a new fibre route between the existing office block, new Head quarters and a transmision site all located in Kampala.

 

Since various other projects are involved we are providing project management services related to the deployment of the fibre network to the main contractor. Our responsibilities are:

 

  1. Technical management
  2. Execution
  3. Sub-contractor management
  4. Quality
  5. Budget control

TANZANIA NETWORK AUDIT. April 08
greenX Solutions were contracted by an Equipment Vendor to perform a comprehensive network audit of a GSM network in Tanzania. The network stretched throughout 23 regions and more than 740 GSM base stations were audited by 5 teams fully equipped and experienced.

 

The comprehensive audit consisted of gathering:

SUDAN BUILDING INFRASTRUCTURE. Currently Ongoing
Currently greenX Solutions are employed to project manage a new building infrastructure project where a new Switch centre will be located at a new building. greenX Solutions are also providing some of the components as listed below. The project consist of providing all services to the facility prior to telecom equipment installation. These services are:
